Universal Nixie Tube Tester it’s a simple handy device for testing nixie tubes and nixie tube drivers. The tester allows you to connect 22 different sockets for several dozen nixie tubes.
MAIN FEATURES.
The tester is designed for simple testing of nixie tubes. The handy housing allows quick and trouble-free operating. Basic parameters:
- Voltage adjustment: 140-200V
- Frequency adjustment: 1-10Hz
- Voltage measurement output

- Power on/off switch
- External power supply required: 12V; 1A DC; plug diameter 2.5 x 5.5 mm; center pin positive+
EXCHANGEABLE SOCKETS.
All sockets have the same pin layout which allows easy replacement of the sockets for different nixie tubes without having to any hardware change. Each of the sockets (connected to the device) provides the valid current for the compatible nixie tubes, you don’t have to worry about it. There are 22 compatible sockets (all sockets without sockets no. 20, 23, 24). Socket no.16 is specially designed to this device (also for pro nixie tester) and dedicated for nixie tube drivers e.g. 74141, K155ID1 etc.
EASY TO USE.
The tester is easy to assemble and use. No special knowledge is required but caution should be exercised because the device is under high voltage.
