NIXIE TUBE DRIVER V3.
Third version of the Nixie Tube Driver project . This time the driver has 40 outputs so you can control four nixie tubes. The driver can also be used for multi-segment tubes e.g. B-7971, B-8971 etc.

- 40 outputs for connecting the nixie tubes cathodes (K1-K40)
- 300V off-state maximum output voltage
- Compatible with all 5V / 3.3V designs
- Easy to use with Arduino or Raspberry Pi etc. (only 3 SPI control lines)
- The drivers can be connected in series
*Please note that nixie tubes require additional 170V power supply.

The design is based on five shift registers that control high voltage transistors outputs.

Sample program code will be published soon. The control is very simple and basic knowledge of Arduino is enough. How to connect nixie tubes to a controller can be found here.
